goomy40 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hellooo! Agent Quacc over here with a scammer that I found in Jamaa Township. goomy40 was advertising that they would be giving away a black long spike collar at their den.

I went to their den to take a look and their den happened to be almost full. Right away, everyone was asking if goomy40 would giveaway the spike using wheel or trust.

Trust is a method that scammers use to get you to trade your items to them and then the scammer runs off. It's when scammers convince you to give them an item for a worthless item and then trust them to give it back. Usually, the jammer that trades the rarest or best items "wins" the prize. At this point, the scammer ends up taking your items and leaving/locking you out.

Right away, everyone began pointing out that goomy40 was attempting to scam. Supposedly, goomy40 tried to make it like it was all a joke and that they were actually going to do a wheel. Using a wheel is usually not a scam but not in this case. Anyone who already reported them doesn't get "entered," even if there is practically no way of goomy40 to know who reported them.

5 seconds later, goomy40 announced that they already put in all the usernames onto a wheel. This is pretty much impossible since the den was still almost full and they couldn't have typed in all the usernames that fast. goomy40 probably just said a random username to "win" the giveaway.

Everyone was still suspicious that the winner could've been a spare and that goomy40 still tried to scam. The winner was active the entire giveaway and even called goomy40 out on scamming.

After questioning why they even tried to use trust in the first place, goomy40 ended up locking everyone out of their den.
Don't forget to report goomy40 for attempting to scam!
