Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hello, readers! It's Rose with a new post. Using the Scammer Report Form, Ella submitted a report on emma8475.

Emma8475 had said that they were giving their spikes for a wrist and said to leave if you thought they were scamming.

They said that they wanted a spike and a worn for all of their spikes. Some people there questioned why they couldn't just trade for it.

Ella said to another person there to not trade emma8475, and the other person said that they were locked out and that emma8475 said that they had to do the trusting method because her trading was glitchy.

Please report emma8475 for their scamming attempt and stay safe, until next time! Sorry for the short post.

Agent Insights Ep 51: Hacked Pet Bears

Hey all, Jade here with your latest Agent Insights post! Today, we'll be talking about hacked pet bears, and how to avoid them.

The Meagyn's Pet Bear was a limited edition pet that was released in honor of a Jammer named Meagyn, who visited AJHQ with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. These pets were sold in the diamond shop from November 2018 until January 2019. As of now, they are typically worth a few den betas each, though some uncommon bears can go for Spiked Collars.

Starting in the later months of 2019, people began noticing pet bears with adoption dates later than January 2019. These bears were being hacked into the game and passed off as regular bears- and, as of now, they are still being hacked in regularly.

Trading for one of these hacked bears is a very bad idea. Many hacked bears are deleted from the game by AJHQ when they are discovered- meaning that, if you trade for one and keep it, it will likely be deleted and you will have traded your rare items for nothing. Additionally, there have been cases of Jammers getting banned from the game for having a hacked bear on their account. Getting banned for having a bear is relatively unlikely, but it is always a possibility- so, it's better to be safe and not have them at all.

So, how do you tell if a bear is hacked? There is only one way to tell for sure- the adoption date. Any bear with an adoption date after January 2019 is hacked. Whenever you're trading for a bear, make sure to pull up the adoption certificate first and check the date.

Many hacked bears have also been noted to share the following traits: solid color (same color for primary and secondary), squinted eyes, fluffy ears, and mohawk- so it's reasonable to be especially suspicious of bears that fit this description. However, as you can see in the picture of the hacked bear earlier in this post, not all hacked bears share these features, so it's best to be safe and check the certificates of all bears.

Now, if you're buying a bear from a shop, there is no way to check the certificate directly. Instead, you'll have to pull up the owner's player card, open their pets tab, and scroll through until you find the bear you want to buy. This may seem tedious, but finding the bear to check its certificate is much better than wasting diamonds on a hacked bear.

Finally- what do you do if you already own a hacked bear? Well, you shouldn't trade it or sell it, because whoever owns it next could face consequences for having it on their account. Instead, you'll need to simply release the pet. This may seem like a disappointing solution, but it's much better to just remove the bears from the game instead of letting them circulate and cause more problems. To release a pet, just go to your pets menu and click the cage icon in the lower left-hand corner, then click whatever pet you need to release.

That's all for today! If you have any more questions about hacked bears and how to avoid them, feel free to leave them in the comments below. Stay safe, everyone, and jam on!

fgt136 + playcookieplay36 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hey all, Jade here with another scammer post! Yesterday, I found this scammer in Crystal Sands, advertising a giveaway of their list.

Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot of their list. However, it included three long Spiked Collars.

Their account only had five achievements, which made me think that they were likely an alt account, so I went to their den to investigate.

After about a minute, the scammer followed us in and began to explain the rules of the giveaway.

They told us that we would be doing a bunch of different giveaway methods, and whoever had the most points in the end would win.

They told us that we would start with the "first jag" method, and continue from there.

They continued using this point system with various giveaway methods for quite a while. At one point, they had us repeat "we hat[e] scammers", likely to increase our trust in them and make us believe that they weren't scamming.

After about 15 minutes, playcookieplay36 entered the den and said that we should do trust trading for the next round. They left the den immediately afterwards. This account had a significant amount of animals, pets, and achievements, and a number at the end of their username that was very similar to the number at the end of fgt136. I believe that this was fgt136's main account, which they brought in to suggest a trust trading round in hopes that we would fall for the scam.

fgt136 asked what trust was, and everyone in the den told them that it was a scamming method and we shouldn't do it.

However, they insisted on doing it, telling us that they weren't scamming and that they just wanted to try it.

Everyone in the den continued to protest, so they then told us that if we wouldn't do trust, they would end the giveaway. We pointed out that they didn't even know what trust was two minutes ago and that it was an unfair method, and they finally agreed to do another round of something that wasn't trust.

They spun a wheel for the next round, then told us to count up our points and figure out who won the spikes.

We figured out that three people were tied for first place, so someone suggested that they simply split the spikes between the three winners. fgt136 said that they didn't want to do that, then locked everyone out of the den.

Please report fgt136 and their main account, playcookieplay36, for attempted scamming, and watch out for anyone using similar methods! Luckily, these two weren't able to take anyone's items during this particular scam.

Stay safe, everyone, and Jam On!

silverstar10978 + iamomazing (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Howdy everyone! Danny here with a scammer and their alt account I encounter earlier today. I saw silverstar10978 in Jamaa Township advertising that they were offering their trade list in exchange for a sabertooth banner.

Their list included five spiked wristbands of various colors, as well as a rare ninja mask and a head feather. This seemed incredibly fishy to me, as a quick check of the AJ Item Worth Wiki revealed that all the items in the sabertooth collection were worth at most 1 clothing beta each.

Nearby, I also noticed iamomazing asking people to trade them fairly. I checked on their trade list and, surprise surprise, found a sabertooth tapestry. It is not the exact item silverstar10978 said they wanted (there is both a tapestry and a banner in the sabertooth collection of items), but based on iamomazing's low amount of achievements and silverstar10978's terrifying overtrade for a cheap, uncommon item, I suspected this was an S14, or two-person scam.

For those of you who are unaware, an S14/two-person scam is a scam where one person is offering a massive overtrade for an item that is uncommon, but ultimately not worth much. Another player has the item, but will only trade it to you for more than it is worth. If you trade a lot for the item from the second player, both players will leave and you will be left with a mostly worthless item.
I went up to silverstar10978 and told them that sabertooth banners were not worth anything close to that. They (very dismissively) told me that it was just the item they wanted, and they didn't really want their list. A very rude way to speak to someone just trying to help you not get ripped off, but I digress. Sabertooth items are not terribly uncommon, there is absolutely no need for someone to overtrade so vastly.

I then realized at this moment, that I actually had all the sabertooth items in my inventory from when they were released initially. I changed animals, walked away for a bit, then came back to silverstar10978 and told them I had a sabertooth banner. They left almost immediately.
Surprisingly, iamomazing continued to advertise their trading, which I thought was strange. However, I realized why they did not leave when I saw silverstar10978 return to their position just a few minutes later. This time, I changed my animal again and traded my sabertooth banner (not tapestry, but I was going for accuracy here) for one of the spiked wristbands that were on silverstar10978's trade list. After deliberating over it for a long time, they declined my trade

Make sure to report both silverstar10978 and their alt account, iamomazing, for scamming. Remember to always exercise caution when trading!

okralover (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hellooo! Agent Quacc here with a scammer that I found advertising for their giveaway in Jamaa Township.

okralover was trying to use the trust method to scam. Trust is when scammers say that trading them your best items to "win" another item. They ask you to accept and trust them to trade back your items. Instead, scammers usually take your items and lock you out/leave.

okralover then switched out the spike on their trade list to a bunch of in-store items.

They also made it a rule that they would only announce a winner if everyone traded them. It's most likely a way to get more items from other jammers. Luckily, they forgot that I was there and moved on.

After a while of warning the others at the den, almost everyone still traded them. okralover then agreed to give the spike to the supposed "winner."

Before anyone could say anything else, everybody was locked out and blocked one by one.

I even confirmed with the winner that they didn't get anything.

Don't forget to report okralover for scamming and stay safe!

Random Saturday Ep 59: Sustaining Free Membership in AJPW

What's up everyone! Today, I bring to you your next Random Saturday! Today's topic is kind of like a continuation from the last one I wrote. (You may view it here) Without further ado, let's go!

So, in the last post, I talked about how everyone could earn free membership from AJPW through hard work. Today, I'm going to walk you through how to extend this free membership past just one month, such that your AJ membership could be indefinite.

As written in the last post, one month of membership can be bought for 400 or 500 sapphires. What can you do to keep earning those sapphires? I should say that playing games in AJPW is now of a much lower importance as compared to when you first started of. This is because those gems can only be earned once. Therefore, they are only useful for the first "surge" to kickstart your membership in AJ. Though, if you still have some milestone rewards unclaimed, you may go ahead and grind it out if you want. However, I can say that it is very possible to continue having indefinite membership even without the milestone rewards.

First, membership in AJPW means that you will earn five sapphires each day you log in. For the following calculations, I will use the upper limit of 500 sapphires for membership.  A month of membership is 30 days long. Every day, members can earn five sapphires if they log in on each day. Therefore, from just log in bonuses alone, you can earn up to 150 sapphires. That leaves just 350 sapphires to cover.

Next, sapphires are a common reward from pet expeditions. In order to send your pet on an expedition, you must first raise its level. This is something that only members in AJPW can do, because it requires the usage of Pet Stations. Interacting with your pet in the Pet Station will gradually increase its level. Continuously interacting with the Pet Station allows a member to grind the level of their pet from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 5. When it comes to pet expeditions, the level 5 expedition gives the best rewards. So, I highly recommend you to save your pet till they reach the maximum level. Then, you can send them off on the longest expedition. The level 5 expedition takes 5 days to complete. When your pets come back, there is a high chance for them to come back with 4 or 5 sapphires per pet. Do note that there are other rewards that can also be earned, not just sapphires. Therefore, I recommend you to send as many pets as you can on expeditions. I know that pets in AJPW are quite expensive, since they cost 50 sapphires each. However, the honeybee (and Meagyn's Pet Bear) only cost gems. Therefore, whenever honeybees come back in stores. I recommend you to get some since they also can be sent on expeditions.

Next, check the gem tree and pack chest in your pack hideout. These mechanics are also only accessible to members. The gem tree can give you gems when you click on it. While the tree mostly gives gems, there also is a small chance for it to drop sapphires, so you might get lucky! The tree regenerates every hour, so be sure to check it whenever you're on! Every pack also has a pack chest. It gives a reward every day. Most of the time it is gems, but there is a very small chance that it could be sapphires!

Finally, keep on watching ads and using the phantom dimension to earn sapphires. At this point, you may realise that you don't really have to go into the phantom dimension anymore, because the above plus ads are more than enough to earn you enough sapphires for membership.

I should let you know that while the membership is written down as 30 days, AJHQ extends it a little longer than that for Jammers to buy a new membership using real money. You can only buy the next 30 days of membership once those "extra" days expire. I recommend you to make good use of those extra days to earn more sapphires till you have to buy another membership (with sapphires).

My last tip is to check your balance before you buy anything that requires sapphires. In order to be able to continue buying your membership, it's good to assume that it will cost 500 sapphires instead of 400, as that prepares you for the worst. Always make sure that you are getting closer to being able to buy your next sapphire membership as time goes. This is because many of the methods listed here cannot be used without a membership!

That's all from me today, good luck to all of you who are working your way to a free membership! As usual, stay safe, jam on!

jammer83282 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hello all! Danny here with a scammer that Jade and Flint helped me get some info on. I saw jammer83282 in Crystal Sands advertising that they were giving out memberships in their den, no items involved. This seemed pretty fishy to me, as it is difficult to give out membership in a safe way, so I went to go check it out.

I got locked out of the den immediately, presumably because I was on a member account. I asked Flint and Jade if they could go check it out and get some evidence for the post.

Jade and Flint came into the den on nonmember alt accounts, and there were a couple other nonmembers there. It had been going for a bit by the time they got there, but they both arrived just as the scammer asked one of the other players there for their password. Of course, you should never give out your password to anyone, because they would have access to everything on your account and could do whatever they wanted.

The people in the den started calling jammer83282 a scammer, and they attempted to defend themselves, by saying that you can put the membership on a spare. People responded by saying that they'd just hack the spare, and asking why they would want to put a membership on a spare.

Someone tried to ask the scammer how they were going to give a free membership, but jammer83282 refused to answer. They said it's because the other players were probably recording, which is suspicious because if the method didn't involve scamming or hacking, there would be no reason not to say what it is.

Once it became clear that everyone knew it was a scam, jammer83282 locked the den.

A few minutes later, I saw jammer83282 in Coral Canyons telling people to "say goodbye" to their accounts before they recycled all their items. I'm not sure if they recognized me and were saying this directly to me, but it was pretty weird nonetheless.

Special thanks to Flint and Jade for helping me get additional proof on this scammer!
Make sure to report jammer83282 for personal info and scamming. Never give out your personal information to anyone, even if they promise to give you something really great in return.
