xxmambearxx (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hello! Quacc here with another scammer post! This scammer was reported by a jammer through our report form that would like to stay anonymous.

About a month ago, an anonymous viewer saw xxmambearxx advertising for a giveaway where they were supposedly giving away rare items such as spikes and betas. It seemed suspicious so the witness went to xxmambearsxx's den to see how it would go. Once xxmambearxx arrived, they announced that would be using flash as a method to give away their items.

Flash is a very popular method of scamming. In this case, xxmambearxx is using the accept, accept, decline variant of flash. It is a method where the scammer tries to trick you into accidentally accepting a trade request. Scammers would typically ask you to only send a trade request to them with your rare items and would confirm the trade request before you can decline.

Another jammer in the den ended up flashing their items to xxmambearxx.

The submitter attempted to confront xxmambearxx but was locked out right away.
Don't forget to report xxmambearxx for scamming and stay safe!

Random Saturday Ep 76: Member Daily Spin in AJPC

Hey everyone! This is Clover here with another edition of Random Saturdays! Today, we are going to be talking about the Member Daily Spin in AJPC.

Ever since July 7, 2011, each time you logged onto Animal Jam you would receive a Daily Spin popup. This original Daily Spin, known back then as the Daily Gem Bonus, could give you up to 1500 gems a day.

This Daily Gem Bonus had a few updates throughout the years, first gaining a diamond panel on June 6, 2013, and a gift panel on June 12, 2014, before finally, the Member Spin was created.

The Member Spin was first released on January 1, 2017 as a members only feature. Instead of the original Daily Spin, members will spin this wheel.

Instead of the gem panels on the Daily Spin, the Member Spin consists mostly of diamond panels. In total, there are 12 "1 diamond" panels, 2 "2 diamond" panels and 2 gift panels. Usually, you will land on a "1 diamond" panel, which, depending on your login bonus, can give you 3 diamonds per day, however, if you're lucky enough, you can receive up to 6 diamonds with the "2 diamond" panel!

Finally, if you land on a gift panel, you can receive up to 3 rare items, depending on your login bonus. These include former Rare Item Monday items, as well as multiple rare Jamaaliday items.

Anyways, that concludes this episode! Be sure to log in today to receive your daily bonus, and thank you for reading the newest edition of Random Saturdays!

trüdémentedlémon (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask you to report them, and maybe block them.

Hoi everyone, Fera here with my first scammer post! Today we will be discussing a scammer that was submitted to our Scammer Report Form by a jammer who wishes to not be credited.

Lemon was seen in Jamaa saying that if someone bought from their shop, they will gift them a black long. The jammer checked the shop that mainly consisted of overpriced items, most of which can be found in shops. The item that cost the least was the music "Spooky old Bones" found in the spooky party during Halloween. The jammer waited for a few minutes when no one bought. Lemon came and the jammer asked that if they bought the music, will they get the black long spiked collar.

The jammer bought the music and Lemon locked everyone out of their den, blocking them and logging off. The jammer came to Trüdémentedlémon's den later on a spare and found that some items were gone, probably taken out of the shop or bought by other people. Lemon was online at that time, so the jammer jagged them to come to their den. Lemon locked the jammer out of their den after receiving the Jam-a-gram.

Lemon used a scam where they put overpriced items and say that if someone bought one of those items, they will get a rare item. Scammers usually say that they will give the jammer who bought something from their shop, a black long or a headdress or another item worth a lot. After a jammer buys, they lock everyone out of their den, leaving the jammer who bought with fewer diamonds than before. Please be aware of this type of scam, and stay safe everyone!

Natenightmarecat/The Return of xSoftEchoes (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Howdy everyone, this is Danny with a scammer I encountered the other day. I was in Jamaa Township when I saw Natenightmarecat advertising to look up a channel that would let people get a variety of very rare items. They also claimed the channel had proof that their service could get people headdresses on video.

This sounded fishy to me, so I looked up the keywords. I found a video called "HD Promo Animal jam!" on the YouTube channel xSoftEchoes.

If that name sounds familiar to you, that's because it is. A month ago, I made another post about xSoftEchoes's YouTube channel. This post is going to be a little on the shorter side, since almost nothing has changed since the last time I stumbled upon their channel, but you are welcome to read the previous post about them for an interesting deep-dive.
The channel has only 3 video uploads - an incredibly generic 3D animated intro that was probably stolen from another channel, the aforementioned "HD Promo Animal jam!", and a video that claims to show further proof of the exploit giving people rare items. None of these videos are new from the last time I wrote about this channel - they are all the same videos, they have just been given new titles. You may also notice the comment sections are flooded with comments from people ranting and raving about how awesome the exploit is.

To summarize how this scam works, xSoftEchoes has a link in their channel description to "French AJ server", supposedly a French version of the Animal Jam Classic website that you can log into to play the game in French rather than English. In the "proof" videos on their channel, they show a player logging in to the French AJ server from their channel description, entering an invalid code for a black long or a headdress several times, solving a security captcha, and then all of a sudden having that item in their inventory. These videos are 100% fake, of course, which becomes increasingly obvious the longer you think about the logistics of them (if you read my previous post about xSoftEchoes, I closely analyze the videos for fun to show all the inconsistencies and mistakes that prove their illegitimacy), but what makes this silly waste of time into an outright scam is the fact that the "French AJ server" they link to is not a real AJ website.

If you click the link to the website in their description, you will be taken to what appears to be a version of the Animal Jam Classic homepage en Français, except it's not. As indicated by the "powered by 000webhost" banner in the bottom right and the absolute nonsense going on in the site's address bar, this is not a site run by AJHQ, it is a duplicate made by a scammer. If you enter your username and password into this website, you will not log into the game, but rather, the scammer who owns the website now has your AJ username and password.

This scam has been falling out of popularity lately, since now that Flash no longer works in browsers, less people are likely to fall for this trick. It seems some people have not given up, though.

Please report the xSoftEchoes YouTube channel for scam/fraud, and hopefully we will be able to get their channel taken down altogether. Please also report Natenightmarecat for safety.
That's all for now. Stay safe and happy jammin'!

Sweettooth9999 + Bandetthegamer + Katniss661 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hey guys! It's Pluto here with my first ever scammer post! I was in Jamaa when I saw Sweettooth9999 offering a giveaway at their den. When someone is offering a giveaway, there is a chance it could be a scam.

I got in there and there were three other jammers, Bandetthegamer, Katniss661, and one other jammer. I quickly asked if this was a wheel and it wasn't. The reason I Included these two other jammers was that they were A. nonmembers with few achievements and B. they were defending Sweettooth. They were most likely working with the scammer.

Sweettooth then asked if we "trusted them". This followed with them explaining a very common trust scam. For those who don't know, a trust scam is when a jammer asks you to trade good items for their in-store items in the promise of trading it back in the end. However, what happens almost every time is that they end up running away with your items.

They claimed that they were "quitting", which prompted me to ask why not giveaway the items through a wheel. They responded by saying it was a test of sorts and it was just for fun.

I feel like I had all the information I needed to prove that this was a scam, but to check, I traded them a RIM, then declined when they tried to accept.

After I confronted them, I was almost instantly locked out of the den. Luckily, it was just me in the den at the end so nobody got scammed. To keep this from happening to you, never fall for trades that seem "too good to be true". Stay safe while trading and play wild!

Update Post - January

Hello everyone! Flint here to bring you the society updates for January 2021.

Firstly, we've altered our posting schedule. Scammer posts are now being posted less frequently. If we get an influx of new agents, we might increase scammer posts again, but for now we feel posting less is beneficial.

Secondly, we would like to welcome our new gammas Pluto and Fera! If you're interested in becoming a gamma as well, we encourage you to check out our Joining page and fill out the application. We're currently looking for new members, so now is a great time to join!

We've also fully released Events in our discord! Once a month, either me or Dew will host a text-channel game that anyone on the discord can join. We encourage you to join the discord (linked on the right sidebar) and participate in Events!

That's all I have for today. Goodbye!
