Hey gang! A couple days ago, I found pittypup034 advertising for people to read their Jammer wall for information about a giveaway they were hosting. I was curious, so I decided to take a look.

Reading the messages posted on pittypup034's Jammer wall revealed that what they were hosting wasn't actually a giveaway at all, but rather a contest that involves other players making them custom masterpieces, and the first one to gift it to them would be gifted a gold wrist in return.

This seemed extremely fishy right out of the gate and left me with a lot of questions. Why did people have to gift them the masterpiece instead of trading for the wrist? If they just wanted a custom masterpiece, why don't they just ask an artist for one? I tried to ask them why people had to gift them the masterpieces, and after ignoring me for several minutes, they simply told me that they would gift the wrist back, which didn't really answer my question.

I tried to ask them why people couldn't just trade their masterpieces for the wrist, and after ignoring me again for a while, they simply said "whatever" and went right back to advertising.

I kept trying to ask them the same questions, and they continued to ignore me some more, until simply saying that it didn't matter if it was gifting or trading. Of course, that isn't true at all; gifting and trading is the difference between the artists making masterpieces for their contest potentially getting scammed or not.

After awhile, they ran off to another Jamaa Township, and I followed them. I tried to ask them again why they couldn't just trade, and they ignored me for a little bit before running off somewhere else. When I found them again, they started JAG'ing me instead, telling me to go away and saying that I was annoying them.

I told them that I was just asking why they couldn't trade for the masterpieces, and they started insisting that it wasn't a scam, even though I hadn't accused them of scamming.

After that, they told me that they were going to change their messages to instead ask for people to trade the masterpieces...

...however, when I checked their Jammer Wall a little later in the day, it looked like they had simply canceled their "giveaway" altogether.

I can only assume they ultimately decided to give up after realizing that nobody was going to spend time, effort, and diamonds making artwork for a stranger and then sending it to them for a prize that may never come.
Make sure to report pittypup034 for scamming!
