Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Howdy everyone! Danny here with a scammer I saw earlier today. awesomeomg006 was in Jamaa Township advertising that if they accepted your trade, you would win a spike, perhaps even a black long.

I checked their trade list, which only contained a rug. This "make me accept an overtrade and you win something" tactic is a commonly used scam. The scammer promises that if you can trade something good enough to make them accept your trade, you will get something valuable, but in reality, the scammer will skip town with your rares. It's a good rule of thumb that pretty much anyone who asks you to trade with them indirectly is probably being dishonest. If you are expecting to receive a black long, there's no reason not to trade directly for the black long.

Before I could intervene, another player called them a scammer. awesomeomg006 casually said "that's what you think" before another player also chimed in and said it was a scam. Shortly after this, awesomeomg006 left.

Make sure to report awesomeomg006 for scamming. Stay safe and trade fairly!
-Danny
