jammer83282 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hello all! Danny here with a scammer that Jade and Flint helped me get some info on. I saw jammer83282 in Crystal Sands advertising that they were giving out memberships in their den, no items involved. This seemed pretty fishy to me, as it is difficult to give out membership in a safe way, so I went to go check it out.

I got locked out of the den immediately, presumably because I was on a member account. I asked Flint and Jade if they could go check it out and get some evidence for the post.

Jade and Flint came into the den on nonmember alt accounts, and there were a couple other nonmembers there. It had been going for a bit by the time they got there, but they both arrived just as the scammer asked one of the other players there for their password. Of course, you should never give out your password to anyone, because they would have access to everything on your account and could do whatever they wanted.

The people in the den started calling jammer83282 a scammer, and they attempted to defend themselves, by saying that you can put the membership on a spare. People responded by saying that they'd just hack the spare, and asking why they would want to put a membership on a spare.

Someone tried to ask the scammer how they were going to give a free membership, but jammer83282 refused to answer. They said it's because the other players were probably recording, which is suspicious because if the method didn't involve scamming or hacking, there would be no reason not to say what it is.

Once it became clear that everyone knew it was a scam, jammer83282 locked the den.

A few minutes later, I saw jammer83282 in Coral Canyons telling people to "say goodbye" to their accounts before they recycled all their items. I'm not sure if they recognized me and were saying this directly to me, but it was pretty weird nonetheless.

Special thanks to Flint and Jade for helping me get additional proof on this scammer!
Make sure to report jammer83282 for personal info and scamming. Never give out your personal information to anyone, even if they promise to give you something really great in return.
-Danny
