Hey, everyone! This is Clover with another scammer post. Tapubulu and pastelpixelz are a pair of scammers that were reported through our Scammer Report Form.The submitter of the form said that Tapubulu was advertising that they were trading Snow Leopard Slippers for a black Studded Collar.
This is suspicious because if you look at the Animal Jam Item Worth Wiki, the black Studded Collar is only worth a few RIMs (Rare Item Mondays), while the snow leopard slippers are worth 9 Black Long Collars.
At the same time, pastelpixelz was asking for people to trade them any Short Spiked Collar.
On their trade list, they had a black Studded Collar; the same item that Tapubulu was asking for.
This is a scam that has recently gained popularity. The idea is that a jammer would trade pastelpixelz a Short Collar for their Studded Collar, thinking that they would be able to trade it to Tapubulu after. However, the 2 scammers would just exit the room and leave the jammer with a worthless item.When I searched their usernames on Animal Jam, I noticed that pastelpixelz didn't have many achievements, which lead me to think that pastelpixelz was an alternate account used by Tapubulu.
Make sure to report Tapubulu and pastelpixelz for scamming! Remember to have fun on Animal Jam, and don't accept unfair trades!-Clover
