fwthat + theæsthetics (AJPC)

Hellooo! Agent Quacc here with another scammer that I found in Jamaa Township. fwthat was advertising a giveaway for their list in their den.

I went to their den to investigate. I noticed that theæsthetics was the first person in the den even when fwthat just started advertising. Once they arrived, they said that they would be using a wheel to giveaway one of the spikes. 

It's likely that they didn't add any usernames to the wheel since they managed to add them in a few seconds. fwthat then said that theæsthetics had won the spike.

fwthat was then going to use a wheel to decide which games would determine a winner. In some cases, this can be a sign of an actual giveaway but some scammers use this as a way to introduce another scamming method.

fwthat then said that the game would be "best troll," which is when you accept once then cancel. I suppose that they're trying to use the accept, accept, decline method since they later said that people were doing it ''wrong." Accept, accept, decline is a popular scamming method where the scammer asks you to trade your best items for their items. They tell you to accept twice then decline but by then, the trade has gone through and you only have a small amount of time to cancel the trade. At this point, theæsthetics was still idle. They also switched out the spikes on their trade list to a bunch of in-store items.

   

fwthat also asked for everyone to buddy them if they were going to participate. A lot of scammers usually do this so that they can control who is in the den. 

I warned everyone by jagging them but once I jagged theæsthetics, I was locked from the den. This usually means that they are a spare that is helping out with the scam.
