sundos49 (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Hello everyone! Flint here, with a scammer that was submitted through our Report Form. This scammer was submitted around 3 months ago. Our Agent Quacc submitted this before she became an agent.

Quacc was in Jamaa Township, and found sundos49 advertising an orange long giveaway at their den. She went to check it out.

Once Quacc got there, she discovered that it was a trust giveaway. Trust giveaways are almost always scams, as they rely on people trading a good item for a bad item, and then trusting the other person to trade back their good item. Usually, the other person waits until they're traded a good enough item, then they lock their den and/or run away.

Many people traded sundos49, trading mostly bad items. At one point, someone traded a blue long, which they got back. sundos49 said that the person who traded the blue long was winning. At this point, someone else traded what was presumably a better item than a blue long. sundos49 accepted this trade, then locked their den without giving away the orange long.

It's highly likely that this is a scamming alt, as it only has 2 achievements, barely any items besides the orange long, and a near-empty den. Either way, it's still good to report and keep an eye on scamming alts, as sometimes they can be suspended before they can trade their loot back to their main, and if enough scamming alts get banned, it can discourage the scammer from attempting more scams.

That's all for today. Remember to avoid trust-trading, and be cautious of new accounts giving away rare items. Goodbye!
