itzéverydaybrö (AJPC)

Do not attempt to track down or harass any of the scammers we post. We only ask that you report them, and maybe block them.

Howdy all, Danny here with a scammer I encountered earlier today. I was in Coral Canyons when I saw itzéverydaybrö advertising that they were giving out spikes for free in their den. This sounded like it was either going to be very fishy or a super great opportunity, so I went to check it out.

There were quite a few other people in their den when I got there, and they soon returned. They told us that the next person who bought something from their shop would get a free spike. So, right off the bat, the "free" spikes are not free at all, because you have to buy something else to get them, but I digress, I suppose that's not really the point here.

Their shop had two pages with some random items for sale, including some very overpriced minigame arcade machines, the Jamaaliday advent calendar gift that was given out today, an Eco Wind Turbine, and some Nerd Glasses. There was a lot of variety in the prices, which made me doubt that itzéverydaybrö was actually going to give a spike to somebody who only paid a few Diamonds. Plus, we hadn't even seen the spikes they were claiming to be giving out, which made me extra suspicious of the whole ordeal.

itzéverydaybrö said that two people had bought things at once, so they would instead give the spike to whoever bought something next. Even if the rest of this "giveaway" was legitimate, this would definitely qualify as scamming - two people spent Diamonds to get free spikes, and have just been told by itzéverydaybrö that they won't be receiving anything.

I asked itzéverydaybrö what spikes they were going to be giving away. They responded by saying that they had blue, green, and orange long spikes. Long spikes are very valuable and priced at several hundreds of diamonds, it wouldn't make much sense to be giving them out for only a few Diamonds. Plus, the items that itzéverydaybrö was selling were mostly pretty worthless. Why wouldn't they just put the spikes for sale in their shop to begin with?

I asked if we could see the spikes they would be giving out, as did a few other players in the den. They told us that their trading was disabled, and so they couldn't put them on trade. This is a common excuse scammers will use, but even if they were telling the truth, they could still show us the spikes by putting them in their shop or on their animal.

I asked them if they could just put them on their animal to show us instead, but they locked us all out of the den immediately.

I asked the other people who had gotten locked out if itzéverydaybrö gave them anything after buying from their shop, and they all said they didn't receive anything.
Make sure to report itzéverydaybrö for scamming. Stay safe and always be wary of shady shop owners!
-Danny
