Hey all, Jade here with the latest scammer post! Sorry for the late upload. Today I'll be going over something a bit different- a scamming account on Tumblr.
Their username is "animal-jam-scammers", their title is "Why trade fair when you can scam", and their description is "A simple group of scammers who give tips and tricks and post about our successful scams". Their last post was in March of 2018, so I doubt they're a threat anymore, but their few posts are a great lesson of what to watch out for in scammers, so we'll go over them.
Their first two posts consist of a lot of different scamming methods, as seen above. I don't have time to go over all these different scamming types, but read over them and watch out for anybody displaying similar behaviors or methods to those listed!
Their only other post on the blog is entitled "SCAMMER ASSISTANTS FOR HIRE", and it describes them being willing to come to your den during a trust giveaway and make people think it's not a scam. This goes to show that even if someone appears to be getting their items back in a trust giveaway, you shouldn't trust them or the scammer! It could easily be a setup to make your items easier to steal.
