I found this user in Jamaa Township, advertising a free pet mouse. I’ll typically take any chance I get to collect rarer pets, so I decided it was worth a shot and went to their den.
As shown above, they did actually own a pet mouse, so I was willing to play along for a little while.
They told us to trade them items for an item that was relatively worthless that they put on trade. They also said that the best trade won, and to put the worthless item on our trade after we got it so they could trade back our items.
Many giveaways that work this way are likely to be scams. The other user could take the items and not trade them back.
I traded them the items shown above (Rare Pumpkin Mask, Rare Cat Hat, and Golden Spiked Wristband). They told me that they would trade back as soon as the other person there had traded.
The other person was skeptical for a little while, but I convinced them through Jam-A-Gram to just trade an item that they didn’t care about. As I later found out, they ended up trading a necklace.
As soon as they had traded it over, we were locked out of the den.
