What's up everyone, I'm back with another episode of Agent Insights. Today, I'm gonna talk about why I feel scamming is bad.
So, scamming is a process in which scammers trick other people to give them good items in return for nothing much. This isn't fair for the scammed. They lose their items, which they could have worked hard for, in return for nothing.
Now you may think that it's the scammed's fault for falling for the trick. However, Animal Jam is, after all, a kid's game. They may not be aware of scammers with not-so-good intent.
Now you may think that it's the scammed's fault for falling for the trick. However, Animal Jam is, after all, a kid's game. They may not be aware of scammers with not-so-good intent.
I'd like to move onto how the scammed might feel when they have their items taken away from them. Let's put ourselves in the scenario that you are the scammed. How would you feel if you had your good items, that you worked weeks for, taken away for good? You cannot get them back no matter what you do. Let that sink in for a moment.
Similarly, the scammed may feel sad when they get their items taken away like that. It isn't a good feeling. I don't think making others feel sad helps to make a good, positive Animal Jam Community.
Now, if you still can't picture why scamming is undesirable, let me present to you an analogy: cheating in a test.
Imagine that you studied real hard for the test. You studied day after day to prepare yourself for the test. When the test day comes, you feel confident in scoring full marks.
Your classmate seated next to you didn't study at all. They simply relaxed all day and waited for the test day to come.
When the test started, you realised that you could do all questions. However, you did not notice your classmate copying your answers, because you were too busy doing your own test.
In the middle of the test, the teacher walks up to you and your classmate, and takes you both out of class. The teacher scolds your classmate for cheating, and scolds you for helping them cheat. You try to defend yourself, but without solid evidence that you were not helping them cheat, both you, and your classmate are subject to punishment.
At the end of the day, your classmate got a solid zero for the test. However, you look at your test, and realised that you got a zero as well, even though you answered every question correctly.
That's the end of the analogy, and the end of the post from me. Until next time.

Don't hate the scammers, but have compassion for the scammed.
