Hello all, Agent Dew here with my very first scammer caught.

I found this gal here advertising for a 'trading competition' in her den. It may be a genuine trading competition, but we have to check to make sure it is. So, I went over to her den to check it out.

After a short while, she appeared in the den and started requesting for jammers to trade her for a black spike.

This was her trade list. A couple of plushies that can be won at Tierney's Aquarium.

She claims that the winner of the 'trading contest' will win the spike. However, chances are that she will not give the spike to the winner.

I tried to ask her to prove that she had the spike by putting it on trade.

However, she refused.

When I asked her again to show the spike, she claims that only the winner gets to see it.

Shortly after, she says that the contest is over. Before I could call her out as a scammer, she locked everyone out.

Well, that's it from me now, I suppose. Not sure if this gal has an active account on the main Animal Jam, but if you are on Animal Jam Play Wild, do report her for scamming. Do remember to stay safe!

Fun fact: In Play Wild, spikes aren't as rare as they are on AJ. They can be won in a treasure hunt for arctic wolves.
