Random Tuesday Ep 05: Animal Jam Birthday Cakes

Disclaimer: Random Tuesdays have been discontinued and merged with Random Saturdays.

Hello all, Jade here! In honor of Animal Jam's recent birthday (September 9), today's Random Tuesday is on the well-known Animal Jam birthday cakes.

Animal Jam has been going strong for eight years now, and we can all agree that it's changed a lot over the years. Many new features have been added, new items have been created, and new fun has been made possible. There are a lot of pictures in this post, so I'm going to put the rest under the cut! Click read more to continue reading!

To celebrate each year of its growth, Animal Jam has created a birthday cake item that users can obtain through codes. These cakes have become a sort of collector's item among users, especially the first, second, and third birthday cakes. Most of them also have easter eggs hidden somewhere in them, which are fun to discover and explore.

The first birthday cake was a small brown cake with green swirls through it. The second is taller, as well as blue and white. The third is a replica of Mt. Shiveer. The fourth is a tiny brown cake with pawprints. The fifth is a small purple cake with phantom-like designs around the base. The sixth is square shaped and white. For the seventh Animal Jam birthday, seven different birthday cakes were created, representing Jamaa Township, Coral Canyons, the Lost Temple of Zios, Mt. Shiveer, Crystal Sands, Kimbara Outback, and Appondale. Finally, the eighth cake is blue and surrounded by ice cream cones.

I would show the animations and easter eggs for each cake, but I think it's more fun to discover them by yourself. If you need help, though, you can look up tutorials on YouTube. I don't blame you-- the tricks to unlock the next step can be pretty well hidden sometimes!

Anyways, thanks for reading! These cakes are some of my favorite items in Animal Jam, and I hope you've been able to learn a bit more about them today. Remember, if you haven't gotten the cake for this year yet, the code is AJBDAY8!
