Society Update: We're Hiring!

Hey y'all! Dew here with an announcement. So, with the revival of the society, we'll be needing new members to help us make Jamaa a safer place of fun. With that, we'll be conducting a recruitment drive on 31st March at 9.00pm gmt (2.00pm pst). We will be roaming around Jamaa recruiting Jammers who we think they can contribute to the society in a positive manner. If you wish to ask us a few questions before joining, feel free to ask if you see us in Jamaa. We hope to see you then!

Society Update: Apology to k0w0

Hello, my humans. Our humans? The humans? Humans? I don't know. As some of you may have noticed, the post about the alleged scammer k0w0 was taken down. This is due to a confrontation and they said they did not scam anyone. Now, under normal circumstances, that alone would not be enough but, they were very on edge and annoyed about the accusation. They said this:

I do not believe they scammed and I personally apologize to you for the issue and inconvenience. Ha like they read our blog. 

Society Update: Documents

Hey! Due to some issues that will not be gone into details about here, we have changed and updated all of our documents. The Ranking System has been completely revamped as has a bit of our Court System (Took six hours, you better read it). There has been one new rule added to the CoC and, that's it. We have an Outlook/Hotmail email now so if you want to contact us, here it is. All Gamma are expected to know the systems. I really recommend you read all of them even if you aren't in the society, just because it will give you a glimpse into the inner workings of the society. You can find the docs under the 'Documents' page.

Society Update: We're Back

Hello, middle of February 2018. It is I, the speaker on behalf of all of SASS, Is. We are coming back as a society, this time, we are going to do this right. I have spoken to Agent Satan, (Stan, Stand, Standard Algorithm? Idk anymore) and she thinks it's a great idea. (Well, at the time of this posting I haven't but by the time you read this, hopefully, I have.) It'll be a bit before we get a post up because there are some things that need to be changed. Recruiting begins as soon as I post this.

Society Update: It's Been Fun

Hey everyone! Is here with some bad news. I gonna come right out and say it, SASS is dead. That's how these things go sometimes but honestly that could have been deduced from no updates since freaking July. Let's face it, we are all a bunch of kids who think we can change something and we can, if we work hard enough. We have all made a ton of great friends and we are all going to miss it. But, we are all getting older and drifting away from the game. It's not fair to keep people expecting a post when in reality there won't be one for a WHILE and that's not right. Agent Insights Ep -100: What is Phishing?

Hello all, I'm back from my long hiatus. I found out something very important that was posted on the Daily Explorer a while ago, and decided to post it here to bring it to your attention.

It seems that scamming, as we all know it, is reaching out of the boundaries of the game itself. You are probably used to the old "Best trade wins a <insert rare>" scam, but this kind that I'm about to show is pretty different. Take a look at this image.

Looks quite unassuming, doesn't it? Well, it is actually a prime example of a phishing email. Malicious people may use this tactic to trick others into handing over their personal particulars without even realising they did. The following image shows why the above image is an example of a phishing email.

Look out for tiny details like those to spot a real email from a fake one.

Getting back to the emails sent by "AJHQ". Those emailsare actually phishing emails. Please do not click any link in the email and alert it to AJHQ immediately. If you do click the link and enter your particulars, at best, a hacker may be able to access your account. At worst, malware might be installed and corrupt your device. The following image is from the Daily Explorer, explaining why the email is fake.

Similar to the previous example, there are loopholes that can be spotted to tell that it is a fake email.
