Random Saturday Ep. 85: Codes

Hello again! It's Rose with this week's Random Saturday. Today, I'll be talking about codes in AJPW.

You can enter codes into the game by first clicking the gray cog at the top right of your screen to reach the "Settings" page. After you've done this, click the blue button on the left that says "Redeem Code".

Once you've done this, type in your code into the text box. But what if you don't know what code to use or if you don't have any?

Here's a list of codes that will earn you 750 Gems and are available, as of the date of the publishing of this post.

Random Saturday Ep. 84: Pet Expeditions

Hello! It's Rose with this week's Random Saturday. This week, I'll be talking about Pet Expeditions on AJPW! 

To start off, you can buy pets in Animal Jam and level them up using the Pet Station if you are a member. Once you've reached the required level for an expedition, you can go to Crystal Sands where this boat is: 

After you click on the boat, you have three different options for expeditions; each one requires a different level and energy and also takes different amounts of time. 

Select one that matches the level of the pet you are taking on an expedition and wait for your pet to return. 

Once your pet returns, it can bring sapphires, gems, items, and DNA vials, which are used to get exotic pets, back.

Monthly Update - April

 What's up everyone, and happy May Day to you all! Today, it's my turn to bring updates about the society for April. Let's go!

Over the past month, we trialed a system in which the staff are not included in the schedule. It worked well for us, and we intend to keep it this way until we need to change the schedule again. Don't worry if this seems unfair for the other Gammas and Senior Agents. We keep the warning system fair by allowing the Gammas and Senior Agents to warn staff members at the end of every month if they feel that our activity is lacking.

Next, I'd like to talk about the Scammer Report Form. We truly appreciate the effort that you all put in to help stop scammers from scamming. If you have evidence showing the scammer in their act, I strongly encourage you to head over to our Report Scammers page, and submit a Report Form! Before submitting a form, do remember to read the instructions stated on the page. Take them as a general guideline as what your pictures and recount should contain.

Next, we are open for new Agents to join the society. If you are eager and passionate about catching scammers with a knack for writing blog posts, I encourage you to check out our Joining page. 

Finally, I'm going to take a few moments to talk about events in the AJSASS Discord server. Every month, I will host an event in the server. Typically, the events start on the 7th of each month (in GMT), and end sometime later in the month. People who participate in the events stand a chance to win event gems, which can be used to buy powerups to increase your odds of winning. This is the current schedule for events:

Jan/Jul: Undercover

Feb/Aug: Where is it

Mar/Sep: What is it

Apr/Oct: Battle for the Bacon (no, it is not a typo)

May/Nov: Egg Hunt

Jun/Dec: Race through Jamaa

Details about each event can be found in our discord server. Anyone can participate in the events!

Random Saturday Ep. 83: Plushies

Hai jammers, Blossom here with our 83rd Random Saturday post! Today I will be talking about the stuffed animals of Animal Jam, plushies!

Plushies were first introduced to the game in mid-July of 2011, and have since become a fun part of Animal Jam.

The most common variety of plushies are Claw Plushies, which can be won from claw machines. Other plushies can be obtained from games, shops, and promo codes.

There are also Jambassador Plushies, which are custom plushies made especially for Jambassadors, including Pugfluff, Chocolate4froggy, CupcakeCeline, and WisteriaMoon. 

Finally, we've got the Clothed Plushies, which are not in-store, but will rarely make an appearance in a Claw Machine every once in a while. 

Plushies are great items for collections, as well as shops, so I recommend you go out and grab some! I hope you have fun with these! This is Agent Blossom signing off, remember to stay safe and play pawsome!

Random Saturday Ep. 82: Fireflies

Hello! It's Rose again with the blog's 82nd Random Saturday. In this week's post, I'll be going over a new special feature in AJPW.

With the new March 3rd update, fireflies have come into the game along with the Golden Snowflakes that I discussed in my last post.

They spawn in any land on the map, but only when the cycle reaches night. The fireflies look like this:

After you click on them, you will get a prize that can range from sapphires to clothing or den items. The gift will appear with the "You got a gift!" popup, similar to the Golden Snowflakes.

Random Saturday Ep. 81: Cruise Ship Party

Hello everyone! Snow here with my first random Saturday post! Today I'm going to be talking about the Cruise Ship Party in Animal Jam Classic.

The Cruise ship party first came to Animal Jam on May 10th in 2012. It is available during March, April and May. It comes a few times every day and you can access it by clicking the party hat icon at the top of your screen. Every time it comes to Jamaa, the party stays for 30 minutes.

At the Cruise Ship Party there are lots of things to do. For instance, in the sky you can see some custom clouds, and a sun. If you click on one of these then a miniature version will appear next to your animal

Near the top of the ship, there is a shop. The shop can be accessed by clicking the umbrella. In the shop you can find all sorts of cool Cruise Ship themed den items!

Also, near the bottom and prow of the ship you can sometimes find dolphins dancing! If you are a flying animal you can also go into the water and see them more clearly.

Next to the shop, is a smoothie machine. This is the same smoothie machine that can be found in the juice hut, by crystal sands. If you are a member then there is also an opportunity to buy the smoothie machine to put in your den.

In the middle of the ship there is a slide that you can go down that leads into a swimming pool. Around the swimming pool there are cushions and two orange chairs.

The Cruise Ship party is very cool, so make sure to check it out before it leaves Jamaa! That is all for this weeks random Saturday post! Stay safe and jam on!

Monthly Update - March

Howdy everybody, this is Danny with our month-in-review for March 2021!

First things first, we'd like to extend a warm welcome to two new Gammas who completed their training this month - Snow and Blossom! Expect to see some posts from them in the future. If you're interested in joining our team and helping to write posts for our blog, head on over to our Joining page for all the info you need.

Next up, we have decided to make some alterations to the way our posting schedule works. As our team grows and we have more members writing posts, we have found it increasingly challenging to fit everyone into our monthly posting schedule. To remedy this, we have decided to remove all members of staff from the coordinated posting schedule. This doesn't mean you won't be seeing posts from us anymore, but rather that you will be seeing more posts from our Gammas and senior agents while the staff focus more of our attention on managerial duties. We will still make the occasional unscheduled post, but the bulk of our scammer posts and all of our Random Saturdays will be authored by our Gammas and senior agents going forward.

Like Flint said in last month's update post, we are open to arranging partnerships with other Animal Jam/WildWorks related Discord servers. If you are the owner of a server and you are interested in getting partnered with us, join our Discord server and reach out to our staff member Dew with your inquiry.

As always, I would like to remind our viewers of our scammer report form! While most of the scammers we publish posts about were encountered by members of our team, we also make posts about scammers that are submitted to us by our viewers. Random Saturday Ep. 80: Eco Items in AJPC

Hey everyone! This is Clover here with another episode of Random Saturdays! This week, we will be talking about the Eco Items in Animal Jam Classic.

Eco items were first announced on July 2nd, 2020 in the Jamaa Journal. Any player who logged on at least 5 days during the month would receive an Eco Wind Turbine, which is worth 10 Eco Points when placed in your den.

With Eco Points, you can generate Eco Credits (every 10 Eco Points generates 1 credit every 6 minutes), and with these, you are able to buy more Eco Wind Turbines and Eco Solar Panels (known as Eco Generators) in order to gain more Eco Points.

On August 13, 2020, it was announced that new Eco Items were entering the Eco Shop, including the Eco Ground Light, Eco Salt Lamp, as well as many others. Unlike the Eco Wind Turbines and Eco Solar Panels, these new items, known as Eco Consumer Items, would instead consume Eco Points when activated.

You can also earn Eco Plaques with your Eco Points. When you reach 30 Eco Points, you will earn the Wood Eco Plaque, you will earn the Silver Eco Plaque when you reach 50 Eco Points, and finally, you will receive the Gold Eco Plaque for 100 Eco Points.
