Random Tuesday Ep 07: Adventure Weapons

Disclaimer: Random Tuesdays have been discontinued and merged with Random Saturdays.

Hey all! Jade here, with episode 7 of Random Tuesdays. Today’s episode will be on a well-known, yet still confusing, aspect of adventures: adventure weapons!

Adventure weapons are items that get you extra hit points when damaging something in an adventure. The default damage for an animal without any items is 10 points, but this amount can be increased up to 60 points with a single item.

These items can make it easier and quicker to get through adventures, as they help decrease the amount of time you need to spend destroying objects, as well as decreasing the amount of times you need to re-spawn as a result of not destroying a Phantom item quickly enough.

The rest of the post is under the cut- click read more to continue!

Some of the most popular weapons to use are parts of armor sets, such as the Phantom Armor. The most common weapons are usually feet items, but some head and back items, such as the Spiked Hair and Shark Fin, have also been known to have this effect on damage points.

There are many known adventure weapons, and more are being discovered all the time. If you are looking to get better and faster at adventures, you should look to use some of the weapons that have the highest point bonuses. The weapon that adds the most points is the Alpha Gauntlets, with a 50 point boost. (Feel free to let us know in the comments if you discover any items that have a higher point bonus than the Alpha Gauntlets.)

Close behind are the Alpha Sword, Ancient Gauntlets, Cosmo's Alpha Gauntlets, Cosmo's Jamaaliday Gauntlets, Graham's Alpha Gauntlets, Graham's Jamaaliday Gauntlets, Greely's Alpha Gauntlets, Greely's Jamaaliday Gauntlets, Liza's Alpha Gauntlets, Liza's Jamaaliday Gauntlets, Peck's Alpha Gauntlets, Peck's Jamaaliday Gauntlets, Sir Gilbert's Alpha Gauntlets, and Sir Gilbert's Jamaaliday Gauntlets— all with a point bonus of 40.

Unfortunately, the ability to combine head, back, and foot items for a higher total damage does not exist. Instead, only the item with the highest point bonus will be counted. However, we can always hope that AJHQ will program this feature into adventures in the future!

I hope this post was helpful in teaching you a bit more about the mechanics of adventure weapons and how to get through adventures faster and easier. Thank you for reading!
